On January 20, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a final ruling requiring health plans to cover the cost of contraceptives. This decision will impact many denominational plans, regardless of the faiths’ theological beliefs. “Concordia Plan Services has a strong history of care and concern for the workers of our church,” said James Sanft, President and CEO of Concordia Plan Services. “The coverage, resources, and services we provide have always been mindful of why we exist and who we serve.”
